Finally finished this painting of my son that I started a few months ago. “Earth Angel” is 16”x20” oil on board. I lost count of how many hours this has taken me after the 20 hour mark. ⬅️ ⬅️ If you swipe left you can see some of the in progress shots I took over the course of completing this painting. The last pic was a quick sketch of the original concept. I wanted to convey his sweet but curious personality with almost a fantasy type feel to it while using plants and trees that can be found around our yard. I can only hope that when he is old enough to have the painting he loves it as much as I do. ❤️
